General Manager, Human Resource
Mr. Augustine Appiah is a Human Resource (HR) expert with over 15years experience within the Human Capital Management Industry.
He takes over from Ahmed Younnis Rennie who retired from his post in the last quarter of 2020.
As head of HR and Administration, Mr Appiah’s remits include implementing corporate strategies, budgets, policies and procedures relating to staffing, labor/employee relations, training, compensation, change management, organizational effectiveness and HR governance.
He holds B.A. in Psychology with Political Science from the University of Ghana – Legon and MPhil in Industrial Organizational Psychology from the same university.
Mr. Appiah is a product of the College of Executive Coaching (USA) where he obtained a Certificate in – Emotional Intelligence (EQ 2.0). He also took part in HR Excellence program organized by the IMB Business School in Switzerland in 2012 amongst others.
His area of specialty includes; Business Partnering, Executive Coaching, Employee Relations, Union Management, Employment Law, HRIS Applications, Business & Finance, Organizational Effectiveness & Change and Balanced Scorecard. He has worked in various companies including Unilever Ghana Limited, Ghana Telecom and Vodafone Ghana Limited.
Mr. Augustine Appiah is also involved in a number of charitable projects in the country.
