Josiah Kwamina Atta is an Electrical Instrumentation Engineer with special interest in providing high-level quality technical solutions coupled with integrity, ethics, leadership and teamwork to consistently build an improved service performance.
He is knowledgeable in various industry automation mechanisms such as PLC, PID, installation and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment such as UPS; AVS, ATS, measuring devices in the petro-chemical industry and electrical network analysis and performance.
He is a certified engineer in good standing from the Ghana Institution of Engineers who possess Bachelor of engineering in electrical engineering from the Regent University college of Science and Technology which is affiliated to KNUST.
Mr. Atta has worked diligently in BOST for fourteen years serving in various capacities including depot management etc. He is currently the Ag. General Manager Transmission responsible for the distribution of liquid and Gas fuel products in a secure, safe and profitable manner throughout the country through following means; Pipelines, Barges, Bulk Road Vehicles etc.
He holds an MSc in Industrial Mathematics, specialized in Operations Research (Optimization Techniques) and a BSc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. He is also pursuing a Professional Master’s degree in Engineering in Oil and Gas with Management at the Kwame University of Science and Technology.
He is well experienced in petroleum products terminal operations and energy economics. He came out with the Top-Up Method for receiving petroleum products in BOST’s terminals that has led to significant reduction in products storage losses within the industrial acceptable levels.
